And still some social media

As it seems like we all love social media as facebook and blogs.

Here is a youtube video in which the use of social media as a tool to encourage people to visit a nation (Australia) is discussed. I found it quite interesting.

The public relations in the field of tourism should also be seen as more than just brochures and advertisements.

Dear Bloggers,

What kind of preconseption do have about situation of social media in Australia?
I have vision of country about crocodiles and smokesignal as you can see in the movie "Crocodile Dundee"...

My friend was after the highschool many, many years ago in Sydney. She told me about very funny and interesting stories about camp fire stories which local students told wild and fantastic stories about forefathers. More wild and criminal forefather than proud of him the tolder was.

Those camp fire times the ways of communicate have developed.

Also in Australia...

A few numbers from Down Under

I'm looking out my window. It's dark and cold outside in good ol' Jyväskylä. I wouldn't mind a spot of the Australian sun and heat right about now. Heck, I'd even swap Olvi for Fosters and ice hockey for rugby while we're at it.

Besides, looking at some figures of the Australian PR industry, I can think of worse places for a man to be professionally - as well as personally - speaking. First major consultancy established in 1947, revenue of more than $1 billion per annum, the industry employs up to 14,000 people... so not bad. But alas, some things are familiar o'er there as well: journalists don't trust you.
